Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games
Although the Tokyo Paralympics took place in 2021 after the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic cause it to be postponed by one year, the games were still referred to as the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games. The Paralympic dressage competition was held at the equestrian park (Baji Koen) in Setagaya, Tokyo, which also hosted the Olympic equestrian events, apart from the cross-country phase of the eventing. Britain won three gold, three silver and two bronze medals in the Paralympic equestrian events, including team gold. Sir Lee Pearson came home with three gold medals for the team, Grade II individual and Grade II freestyle.
