Becky Moody is the 2026 FEI World Cup dressage champion and one of Britain’s leading dressage riders, with more than 30 national titles, an Olympic team bronze and a European team silver medal to her name.

Born in Scotland and raised in Yorkshire, Becky got her start through the Pony Club, qualifying for national championships from the age of nine. She represented Britain at four youth European Championships, winning two team bronze medals at junior and young rider level.
Becky’s senior international career began in 2015 with Carinsio, her long-time partner from small tour to grand prix. The pair won the Future Elite title at Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) and went on to notch multiple Nations Cup appearances and grand prix victories.

But it is success with her homebred gelding Jagerbomb that has pushed her into the sport’s top tier. The pair scored over 84% to win at HOYS in 2022, which helped secure Becky’s place as travelling reserve for the 2023 European Championships. That same year, she entered the FEI World Rankings top 40 for the first time.
Becky and Jagerbomb were called up last-minute to the British team for the Paris Olympics following Charlotte Dujardin’s provisional suspension in July 2024, marking Becky’s senior championship debut.

They scored 74.94% in the grand prix, contributing to Britain’s team bronze, and followed up with two strong eighth-place finishes in the special and freestyle. Since then, the pair became firm fan favourites and standout ambassadors for modern dressage.
At the European Championships the following summer, the pair were the highest-scoring British combination in the special and the freestyle, finishing fifth and fourth respectively.
Their crowning moment came at the World Cup Final in Fort Worth, Texas, in April 2026 – the pair’s first appearance at the Final – where they scored a personal best of 88.33% with their Beatles-inspired freestyle to claim the title.
Alongside her competition career, Becky runs Moody Dressage in South Yorkshire with her sister Hannah and has served on several British Dressage technical committees, making her a respected presence both in and beyond the arena.
