The Grange small pony premier jumping show


  • Daisy Davis enjoyed a memorable small pony Premier Show debut at the Grange, emerging with Royal International 138cm tickets for Pop Idol and Midsummers Magic.

    The opening day’s 138cm class was won by Norton Heath winners Olivia Wells and More Than Milton. Daisy Davis and Midsummers Magic were second, while
    Rosanna Parker on Celtic Wysteria took the other Hickstead ticket.

    Franking her form the following day, Daisy topped a 38-strong 138cm entry on Pop Idol. Scotland’s Graham Gillespie and Try To Hit Me secured the second ticket.

    Jessica Mendoza topped the 128cm qualifier line-up once again, this time on Spring Disney. Imogen Pinney finished second on Hazelbergs Duchess, with Gwenllian Lewis on Sligo Lucky taking their ticket. The third qualifiers were Ella Curley and Celton Lara.

    James Thompson and Mister Boots took the 128cm honours on day two, where qualification went to Amy Inglis (Nantcol Premier) and Rosie Gunn with Real Cool Dude.
