Beckwithshaw Horse Trials to go ahead

  • Beckwithshaw Horse Trials in Harrogate, Yorkshire, will go ahead next weekend, having cancelled the planned event on 21-22 July during the floods.

The re-staging will feature the event’s two new courses thanks to sponsorship from the Bank of Scotland and the support of many local businesses.

“Although the technical adviser pulled the plug the Tuesday before the event, we had decided to run on 11-12 August by the next day,” explains joint-organiser Richard Tyas. “Entries are still open.”

The event will run intro and pre-novice classes.
